Posh and Aishah packed our things
into the car meanwhile me, myself packing all the leftover and make the nasi goreng
for our lunch later. Tak laa kebuluran dalam perjalananan nanti hehe. The
weather is in a good mood. The sun rises and shines brightly. Harap-harap tidak
merajuk lagi matahari hari nih…

lagi bertanya pada owner hostel tuh tempat-tempat menarik yang boleh dilawati.
Bersungguh-sungguh dia bercerita dan memberi tunjuk arah ke tempat-tempat
menarik yang ingin kami lawati. Tapi ke manakah kita? Jom!!!

Route for today
Jauh juga perjalanan kami hari
ini. From Balclutha we’re heading to Bluff, the Southern Tip of South Island
(err I think suke suki je kan…) and then we straight away to Te Anau. Basically
our route for today been revised for so many times. In fact Bluff was not
listed in our plan at all. Tapi since my bos suggested this place to me, why
not??!! Tapi sebelum itu, ada satu tempat yang wajib kami pergi…..
Nugget Point Lighthouse
Inilah dia rumah api tersohor di NZ
Tadaaaaaa…. This is the place!!
Rumah Api Nugget Point!!! One of the iconic places in South Island. Due to Mr
Gugel, the lighthouse was first contructed on 1869… dan pada hari ini, rumah
api ini masih lagi gah berdiri walaupun sudah berusia 146 tahun dan
diselenggara sepenuhnya oleh Maritime New Zealand. Can you imagine that??!!

dari hostel kami. Rasanya kurang 45 minit sudah sampai. Tapi berhati-hati
ketika drive ke sana ok!!! Jalan menuju ke rumah api nih tidak bertar… agagagga
But anyway, we totally enjoy the scenic
view along the way to the lighthouse. Sepanjang-panjang jalan nampak laut saja.
Angin takyah sebut laaa… sejuknya, hanya orang takut sejuk seperti saya je yang
tau hehe.

Untuk ke Nugget Point Lighthouse
kami perlu trekking sket… adalah dalam 15 minit sebab tak jauh mana pun dalam
900 meter sahaja. Tapi kena dengan group Tingtong-GALS-trip nih, 15 minit bawak
ke 45 minit!!! Hahaha mana taknye dua tiga langkah bergambar… lima enam tapak
bergambar lagi heheh But seriously, the scenery was awesome!!! Plus, the sun
shines so bright today and Aisyah took a selfie like crazy haha

ada haha… Tak pasti berapa banyak group tourist yang melepasi kami… yang pasti,
kami tetap tidak berganjak kat Nugget Point nih hihi… The only reason we moved
back to car park is when I really really really need to pee hahahahha

Saya hampir ternoda!!!
Oleh kerana dah tak tahan
sangat-sangat.. saya bergegas ke toilet yang berdekatan dengan parking area di
situ. Wow!!! Toilet di situ sangat mesra alam!! Segala produk penyahtinjaan
akan jatuh terus ke atas tanah menjadi sumber baja asli buat alam sekitar!!
Seriously tau!!! Dalam kelam kabut nak buka seluar sempat lagi saya menjeling
ke lubang tandas. Nasib baik tak nampak benda-benda yang boleh menghilangkan
selera nak membuang air… tapi kalau ternampak sekalipun, saya buat-buat tak
nampak je laa… tak tahan sangat dah nih hahaha Selesai saja berurusan dengan
alam, saya bersiap-siap lah.. molek saja selesai memakai seluar, tiba-tiba
pintu toilet terbuka… AAaaaaaAAAAaaaAAAa!!!! Ada pulak mat saleh nih nak guna
toilet… Baik saya mahupun dia dua-dua terkejut!!! Nasib baik dah pakai seluar.
Seingat-ingat saya, I’ve already locked the door once I enter the toilet… huhu
so, moral of the story, please please and please double check the door supaya
tidak hampir ternoda seperti saya huhu

what had happened to me just now. What???!!! I jerit tau!!! Takkan tak
dengar??!!

So we continue our journey to
Bluff. My mood is a bit off because of the incident. Plus, hari mula mendung
pula. Haih, you cannot predict the weather in NZ. Bila nampak matahari keluar
memancar, jangan nak ngada-ngada menari haka kegembiraan cause you’ll never
know what’s gonna happen next. In just a blink of your eyes, awan pula start
menangis. Haru betul!!

Untuk ke Bluff, we decided not to
use the scenic route. Konon-konon dah puas tengok laut laa hehe So we will
passing through Gore, a small little town that surrounded with the farm
communities. Memang pun… Sepanjang perjalanan kami disajikan dengan pemandangan
padang-padang rumput yang luas terbentang.

Bluff
Ok, dalam sejam lebih kami tiba
di Bluff, tempat yang sedari awalnya hanya dipandang sekadar di pinggiran
sahaja. Seriously. I didn’t study much about this place at all. All I know is
we can get a fresh and delicious oyster in Bluff. Itu pun kalau during season
lah. Unfortunately, kami datang ketika off season huhu. Jadi, ke mana kah kita
nih?
Bluff merupakan kawasan pelabuhan
dan perindustrian di South Island nih. Sebab tuh setibanya kami di Bluff, ada
banyak kilang-kilang di tepi-tepi jalan. Dan kilang-kilang ini semua besaaaarrr belaka. I’m so excited
to see those factories especially the chimneys as I used to work in a factory
and used to design a chimney quite a while ago. Errr… rasa-rasa ada vacancy tak
kat kilang-kilang nih? Heheh

Matu Pohue/ Bluff Hill
Jadi, dengan konsep aci dan
redah, bergeraklah kami di pekan Bluff nih. Sedang sibuk meng’google’ tempat
menarik di sini, ternampak pula sign board menuju ke Bluff Hill. Macam menarik.
Jom. I felt quite creepy along the way to the top of Bluff Hill. Mana tak nye,
jalan mencanak dan mendongak dan satu lane sahaja. Berkali-kali juga laaa… minta
Posh berpatah balik… seram!!! Tapi, berkat kedegilan Posh, berbaloi-baloi juga
kami tiba di tempat nih… Bluff Hill aka Motu Pohue is absolutely gives a
stunning view of Bluff. Wind of sea blows hardly once we reach here. Sila
bayangkan saya berlari terketar-ketar (yes… terketar-ketar) menaiki observation
platform…. Haih.. kalau naik Everest camne laa gamaknye saya nih adeh deh deh…
Dalam sejuk-sejuk, sempat pula Si Aisyah nih ambil video. The funny thing is,
she cannot open the video once we’re back to our car. So, we climb to the
observation deck AGAIN just to take a video for the second time… haru betul!!!
(actually, I also took a video jugak masa tuh hahah). Tak lama pun di atas
sana. Tak tahan sejuk!!

Stirling Point.
This is one of the attraction
that I found in tripadvisor. Saya agak excited sebab sebelum nih pernah ke
tempat yang almost similar to this ketika CSI Amazing Hunt di Taman Negara
Tanjung Piai. Berkobar-kobar mencari lokasi. Nasib baik mudah ditemui hehe. Selain
itu, ada juga chain sculpture berdekatan dengan Stirling Point nih. According
to Wikipedia, this sculpture is the symbol that the Stewart Island been chained
to South Island. (Note : Stewart Island adalah pulau yang berdekatan dengan
Bluff). And the other end of the chain is at the Rakiura National Park located
in Stewart Island itself. Jika berminat, boleh saja ke Stewart Island
menggunakan kemudahan ferry di Bluff nih. Sayangnya, kami tak tau ketika itu
dan masa pun tak mencukupi.
